According to printed out laminated pieces of paper hanging all over the Chick-Fil-A at Mitchell Ranch Plaza, THERE’S A FREAKING SAUCE SHORTAGE. JUST WHEN WE THOUGHT THINGS COULDN’T GET ANY WORSE.
New paragraph. Deep breaths. Okay.
Here’s the bottom line.
These ain’t toilet paper. No stockpiling these bad boys. Chick-Fil-A set some boundaries.
ONE SAUCE
- All Sandwiches
- Chick Fil A Waffle Potato Fries
- 5-12 count Nugs
- 1-4 count Chick N Strips
- 4 count minis, burritos, bowls
THREE SAUCES
- 10 count Chick N Minis
FOUR SAUCES
- 30 count Nugs
Sauces seem to be unaffected in grocery stores.
Purchase sauces at your local grocery store. Get enough to hoard in your garage for the next sauce shortage.
The Evidence
Here’s a pic I took after asking the extra polite fil-a clone at the drive thru for permission.

“Due to industry wide supply chain shortages. Some items like our dipping sauces may be unavailable…
Bottled retail sauces sold out (of) chick fil a stores and other retailers are produced on a separate line… and are not affecting the capacity to produce dipping sauce cups.”
Love, The Sign at Chick-Fil-A Drive Thru
No information on when this great sauce famine will subside.
UPDATE: Food Network seems to be all over the sauce shortage.
