We all feel a connection to Mister Rogers. His approach was simple.
Treat everyone the same. Dont be a jerk. Always be learning.
Treating everyone the same is pretty self-explanitory. Put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Allow them the opportunity to express themselves, and be inquisitive enough to learn about them, before you judge them. You don’t have to like everyone. Everyone doesn’t have to like you. But we all like to be heard.
